Prisoners of Peacetime is a rock band that captures the quiet ache of modern life—an era where comfort masquerades as freedom and the walls we’ve built to keep us safe feel more like cages.
The band was born out of a lifelong friendship between Rayan Dalal and Raghav Agarwal, that began in their school days at St. Mary’s ICSE. Bonded early by a love for rock and roll, they carried that passion through high school, college and into adulthood. In 2020, they finally began shaping their own musical identity—drawing from the theme that had followed them for years: the feeling of not being able to fit in.
Prisoners of Peacetime gives voice to that struggle. Their songs are raw, introspective reflections on what it means to search for meaning in a world that tells you who to be and what it takes to stay true to yourself when everyone else seems to be playing along.
